Ion Shift is a fun Action platformer that places the player in control of the deadly shifter alien that slices and dices through a ship with only one goal: survival by any means. Using the crew's weapons against them by throwing them or strategically hitting nearby turrets so they turn your unsuspecting foes into red mulch is just one of the many ways you can navigate through this fast-paced title. However, don't let the hilariously blind guards fool you, as one hit from anything will end you and reset you to the nearest checkpoint.
Your reactions need to be near perfect as you progress through this indie title turning what will start as a relaxed great time into a sweat-stressed fight for your life just as fast. With 16 levels each being trickier than the last but offering more ways for your Shifter to navigate through, Ion Shift is a good game to pass the time with. Ion Shift is also the perfect example of how a game doesn't need to break your PC to be fun. With its extremely generous requirements, even a non-gaming PC can play it.
